Well, this book covers that extensively. It is really only through the second stage of labor when you pushwhich is the shortest one, that the pain to some extent is related to the child coming out.
He definitely carries the freak flag for natural childbirth and that may turn some people off, however he provides lots of good information on when drugs and cesareans are probably a good idea.
Though the Breech Baby Handbook is very clear about the fact that cesareans are sometimes safest and there is no pressure to choose vaginal birth, I also want to bring back Vaginal Breech Birth so that those women who choose it can do so safely and easily.
